This chapter takes us the ledge as we look over the cliff down into the unimaginable. The chapter begins with Captain John Russell stopping off in Savannah for the weekend. He is due at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort on Monday.
No sooner than he gets there...his cell phone rings...it is Colonel Werner.
He has orders to return to base. Fort Stewart Army base.
This is not unusual to JR. What is unusual is that he finds himself under direct orders to bring Daniel with him.
What were your thoughts at this point?
Once on base. Daniel is introduced to Colonel Werner. Without much fanfare, the Colonel informs Daniel that he is invited to a discussion on National Security.
What do you think rolls thru Daniel's mind at this point.?
The National Reconnaissance Office -NRO....hmmmmm!
Did you know about this NRO? Share your thoughts with us.
Was Captain Sara Parrish being rude to Daniel on purpose when she entered?
Your thoughts...
After a few minutes into the briefing, Daniel thought he and his crew were being implicated....
Why would he think that? Your thoughts.
Daniel realizes moments later that the spotlight was on his kid brother Jeff. Daniel must have missed signs that Jeff was changing. Involved in nefarious activities.
The author commented that JR and Daniel had no idea that they were on the precipice of a 'New Normal.'

As the discussion progresses with the Interrogators and images are revealed...what do you think is racing around Daniel and JR minds.?
Can they fix this?
Two brothers...it appears one will rise. The other will fall.
How do you see this playing out? ( Don't cheat, don't read ahead :-)
Colonel Werner's comments near the end of the Chapter....do you think he is on to something?
